Photomultipliers provide increased protection of the product and are designed for harsh operating conditions. FEU are available with a bulb diameter from 13 mm (1/2”) to 51 mm (2”). A distinctive feature of all the presented FEU is a high-temperature double-alkaline photocathode, which provides stable operation and a long service life of the product at temperatures up to 90C, 175C and 200C. The design of the electrode assemblies allows the use of FEU in downhole instruments during logging of oil wells, during geological surveys or in conditions of aerospace research.
